So here's my vidcap countervailing my latest post bitching about Lenora Quvus being clueless regarding MY being clueless, because NOBODY has ever explained in a forthright and honest way just what the fuck is going on here! And noting… Lenora may be at fault in certain respects, but am I without my own faults? Here I am flaunting my disregard for key concerns of the church I am apparently expected to attend, the Jehovah's Witnesses! Drinking is acceptable in moderation, but smoking cigarettes? NEVER! Well, that's kind of intentional, because I WANT to provoke Lenora! I'm working hard at getting a rise out of her, OK? "Success yet?" Well, probably - I want to encourage her to be more direct with me when she disapproves of my behaviors, and make it clear to her that I in fact will appreciate direct communication with her, not just about music or art or our histories as we have discussed in the past, but more straightforward suggestions for improving my presentation and conduct… even when it involves reprimands or rebukes. I can deal with that fine without losing my temper; I'm used to that… where I come from, as long as the advice is well-intended and comes from someone who is acting as a true friend, such interactions are appreciated! :) Back to "the sitation" - I understand a lot of it, but I was entirely unaware of Lenora's "reputation" prior to her introducing herself to me at The Dock on June 21, 2014, so she apparently believed I had been "clued in" on that … and thought I understood what she meant when she told me "I'd like to edit your work, and do the voiceovers." I changed my shoes, since I am NOT going to haul around video gear while wearing heels.) UPDATE 2/8/13: OK, so I now DO haul around gear while wearing heels… depending on the nature of the event? DON'T TELL MY MOTHER because she doesn't want me wearing them at all! (She wound up having to get foot surgery… from wearing high heels, which used to be mandatory for all women.)
